A chairde,
My sons and daughters-in-law have asked me to pass this invitation on to the Irish community in K.C.  This is first and foremost a support rally for Dayna.  If you care to donate something for the cancer fight, that would be fabulous but not necessary at all.  Just come on out and share some drinks, food and hope with Dayna and Mike.  Mike is also a member of the Padraic Pearse Division of the A.O.H.
I plan to send out a couple of updates a month on Dayna's fight so you can all stay up to date.

Thanks,
Bill Quinn

Subject: Dayna Quinn

Our sister-in-law, Dayna (33), was diagnosed with breast cancer two weeks ago.  It’s already been a long and emotional two weeks, but the weeks and year to come will not be any easier for Dayna and Mike.  She has already been through so many tests and talked with many doctors and it is only the beginning of her battle to fight and beat this awful disease.  Dayna started her chemo therapy this week.  She will have to have a mastectomy (probably double).  Timing on that surgery depends on her response to the chemo.
Dayna and Mike have three small children, Harper (4), Aidan (3) and Tate (10 wks).  While they have tons of family support, we are asking for your help too.  Please join us for an “Open House” (details below) and help us raise funds for Dayna’s treatment.  Dayna has health insurance, however their out-of-pocket expenses are adding up very quickly.  There will be snacks and live entertainment (John Morris), but most importantly we will be supporting Dayna and Mike in their time of need.  We realize some of you may not even know Dayna, but anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated by Dayna and Mike and their families.
